AXSN - About Us

AXSN started way back in 2006. Well the beginnings of it anyway. Originally named Surreal Designs (after myself) in 2005, I was hosted on a free server with a free sub domain. Akura was hosted at a friend. His design site was originally named Juninsofts and had one template when he contacted me. On January 22nd 2006, he wanted to be an affiliate with Surreal Designs. I said no, let's merge. Finally, JxS Designs was created.

JxS Designs in not the end. No, it was the beginning. Since 2006 we have worked on several designs and projects in php, html, xhtml, css and beyond. We have created online games (Universal Invasion) that were once an attraction to the site. We have created online bulletin board software (IPTBB). We have evolved with the web. That is when we decided it was time to get a new name. In 2008 we decided it was time to rebrand our old network into something new and fresh. Finally, AXSN was created.

AXSN (or Axe-sin as I say it) is a network of projects and ideas. It represents me (Surreal) and Akura in our development on the web. Here we will showcase achievements in design and programming. Join us as we conquest the expanding web.

Surreal is my online user name that I try to use in most corners of the web. I am actually known as Alex Aitken as you might find out if you whois this domain name. I am current 20 years old (at the time of writing this [June 2009]). I am studying Computer Science at The University of Auckland in New Zealand. I try to keep this site active with regular blog updates and all that.

If you need any design work done or any PHP work done, you can always come to me for help. I have designed themes for wordpress, forums and everything in between. Web development is only a hobby for me, so don't expect instant returns, but I do try to deliver fast. So, you can usually find what I am up to in the blog. Akura is the other half of development here. He is otherwise known as Brent Davis and even has a blog where you can find his updated information. He is 17 years old, currently knows HTML, CSS, PHP and Ruby. You will find him out and around IPTBB and Shadow Thief. Just read his blog for more info. :D
